Founder Joseph Trapuzzano brings more than 40 years of restaurant experience and has owned and operated multiple successful concepts throughout his career. Opening The Original Famous Philly's fulfilled a lifelong dream that began more than 23 years ago with his very first Famous Philly's location.Joe's award-winning cheesesteak concept has earned national recognition, including being featured in The Great Philly Cheesesteak Book and ranked among the Top 100 Cheesesteaks in the Country.
